About Me
AMY PALMER, B.A, M.A., A.P.E.C. (PENDING)
My core value is t0 honor and respect the diversity of experience that shapes each person’s unique journey and struggles. My coaching is rooted in a profound appreciation for these differences, ensuring that your individuality is valued and supported every step of the way.
I combine a goal-oriented approach with empathy, reflection, and supportive inquiry that will help you develop new insights and chart a path to achieving your goals. My coaching draws upon principles from positive psychology, neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, and holistic well-being to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Prior to being a coach, I led marketing teams in high-growth tech startups for the last 20 years. With multiple acquisitions and an IPO under my belt, I’ve experienced the intense pressure and burnout that comes with trying to do it all—balancing careers, navigating transitions, supporting families, and meeting the constant demands to do more. Through it all, I’ve found my greatest fulfillment in working one-on-one with people - helping them build confidence, gain new insights, discover their strengths, and find the fulfillment that comes from living a life deeply aligned with their values.
Becoming a mother made me deeply aware of the places in my life where I was still living in misalignment with my own core beliefs. I began trying to find a way to more consistently engage in the activities that left me fulfilled, energized, and created meaningful positive impact around me.
This led me to coaching. In 2023 I started my training to become an Advanced Certified Personal & Executive Coach (ACPEC) at the College for Executive Coaching (CEC), which is an accredited program by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). My training includes 128 hours of coach training, training in administering common assessments (Meyers-Briggs, CPI 260, LPI 360, and others), and many hours of coaching experience. I anticipate obtaining my certification in 2024-2025.
My goal as a coach is to be a thought partner who helps you identify your own unique path to happiness and success. Actively listening, reflecting, and asking challenging questions is a powerful process that leans into my natural strengths of curiosity, respect, and empathy. Coaching makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life through the simple acts of witnessing, partnering, developing new insights, and creating accountability to action. Being a coach isn’t about having answers - it’s about having the toolkit that helps others find solutions that work for them. It’s a role I feel extremely humbled and privileged to have.
I’m excited to begin this journey with you.
